  • Stroud Evening Race this week – maprun available wesr1-kingsway

Dont forget that the 5th winter evening street race is scheduled for Stroud on Thursday – our first chance to run the town. Details here.

The Stroud maprun course is now published. It has one or two minor differences from Thursday’s course, but is largely the same, so please avoid looking at the map until Thursday, but bring your phones and run the maprun course in parallel with the normal answer sheet to help check out the positioning of the virtual maprun controls.

NGOC JK Relay Entries now open!

Day 4 of the JK is Relay Day where you are not running individually anymore and instead part of a team of three. The relay is always great fun where you get to experience head-to-head racing against other clubs and it is always a very social occasion where everyone will be cheering you on as you run through the spectator pass-through and into the hand-over area.

There are a huge variety of classes to enter so will be a leg to match any ability.

Last year we only entered one team, so with the JK being closer to home this year, and 21 of you entering Days 2+3, it will be great to enter multiple teams that could include a very competitive Men's Short.

How to enter: Paul Taunton has kindly agreed to coordinate the teams this year so please declare your availability by emailing him (paul.taunton@tesco.net) before Sunday 4th March. All that is needed is name and your SI card number.
