King's Stanley and Leonard Stanley are surrounded by field footpaths. There's also the option of heading for the hills, up the Cotswold escarpment and into the woods.
About half of the checkpoints are in the villages, accessible via streets and paved footpaths. The other half are on footpaths in the surrounding fields and woods.
Footpaths are generally good, but he terrain gets very steep as you approach the hills!
