Don’t forget that we have a series of training courses available to run over the coming weekend, and into next week, on Chestnuts Hill and Green Bottom, on the edge of the Lightning Tree Hill map. This is a fabulous bit of forest, very largely undergrowth and brashing free, and not much used for larger events, so well worth a visit for some practise before the big events arrive.
These are maprun courses, with a slight twist……controls will be discretely marked with small tapes, and if you are running MapRun6 on your phone, you can take advantage of a new feature which offers three chances to see where you are if you are completely lost! You just tap the Show Me button at the top of the screen, and your location will show for 20 seconds.
