We wrap up the 2023 MapRun league this Thursday, 21 December, so if you haven’t entered yet, head on over to Fabian4 and do so now. Entries close at midnight tomorrow.
There wont be a formal MapRun Challenge this year, but there are over 60 MapRuns listed on the website here for you to go and run yourselves if you feel like some exercise over the Christmas break. If you find a course via the website you will find links to download it to your phone or watch, but if you search the UK/Gloucestershire folder bear in mind that all of this year’s courses are still in the Current Series folder, and not in the regional ones; they will be moved at the beginning of January.
You may find that one or two of the older courses have ‘expired’, so that you wont be able to download or run them, but we will be tidying up the library of courses over the Christmas period, annd making room for the new ones to appear in 2024.
We are working on the 2024 MapRun programme, and still looking for volunteers to plan courses, or at the very least perhaps to suggest new places where we could go to MapRun. Let us know – email maprun ‘@’ ngoc.org.uk.
