The heavy rain during the week didn’t prevent a large turn-out at Symonds Yat Rock for the SW and NGOC League event, although it did make the streams and waterways marked on the map very obvious on the ground. The terrain was very runnable and the weather held apart from a short shower mid-way through the day. Thanks go to Alan Richards for planning a good variety of courses and to Neil Fraser of NWO who, as controller, kept us on the straight and narrow. Thanks also to the army of NGOC volunteers working behind the scenes who ensure a seamless experience for you the competitors.
Lost and Found: One yale key on a piece of string – will be available for collection at the next League event. Also one rusty bowsaw, although we suspect this does not belong to an orienteer!
