Be sure to sign up by Wednesday evening for Thursday’s event at St Briavel’s Common, which kicks off a mini-tour of the Gloucestershire countryside.
- Thu 6 May: St Briavel’s Common with its maze of tracks and paths.
- Thu 13 May: Painswick and the valleys to the west.
- Thu 27 May: Robinswood Hill Country Park, and the outskirts of Gloucester.
- Wed 2 June: Frampton on Severn‘s canals make a change from the hills of previous weeks!
In the middle of these, on Sun 23 May, we’ll be holding an Urban Orienteering event in Cheltenham: this will have physical control flags and SI punching, rather than the virtual controls of MapRun, but it’s equally open to all.
Sign-up is available for the first two events, and will open for the others soon. Later in June there’ll be events near Ross on Wye, and in the foothills of Cleeve Hill.
