Further to our earlier note, it seems that the road from Birdlip South towards Stroud(and the Ebworth centre) – the B4070 – is currently closed at Birdlip. The closure is due to be lifted tomorrow afternoon – Friday – but it’s worth checking before travelling on Saturday if you aim to approach the Ebworth Centre from the North on the B4070. If the road remains closed, please do not approach through Cranham village; there are several alternatives which avoid this steep and narrow road.
