We have reluctantly decided to close entries for Saturday’s Barrow Wake race a day early. With over 200 runners, and over 120 cars, we are concerned that parking and overall event management may become a problem. We apologise to anyone who has missed out on a run, but be warned that we may also have to close Huntley and Coopers Hill early as well. Demand is far higher than we have normally had for our League races, perhaps for obvious reasons, but we need to ensure that we can stage the events safely, from both the competitor’s perspective and with regard to Covid constraints.
