Chris James passed away on Tuesday 8th June following a short illness bravely borne. He will be much missed, as he has been a key member of our club for many years.
I have just spoken to Gill this morning and she wanted me to let Club members know that he had a peaceful end, with her, at home. Chris’s daughter, Jenny, is with her now.
The funeral is planned for the 18th of June in the Forest of Dean, but Covid restrictions severely limit numbers. As Chairman, I intend to go and stand outside, to pay my respects both personally and on behalf of the Club.
