We have now allocated start times to all entries up to yesterday early evening, and you can see these on Fabian4 We will do a further update after entries close next Sunday.
All White and Yellow runners have open start times, so they can come to the start, pick up their maps, and be slotted into the start sequence when ready to go.
We have tried to meet all requests for start block preferences, and ‘start near’, but particularly on the busiest courses the middle start blocks are somewhat stretched!
We have also made a few changes to the web page details, which are now pretty much final. A simplified and downloadable version will be added over the weekend should you wish to print a copy to have to hand over the weekend, bearing in mind lack of internet connectivity in the arena.
Finally early warning of a potential hole in the organisation for the weekend; we have lost our caterer due to unforeseen problems, and are urgently seeking a replacement. Keep an eye out on the website for further information, as in the worst case you may need to cater for yourselves at the event. We very much hope it wont come to that, and if anyone knows a friendly and efficient outdoor event caterer, based not too far from the Forest of Dean, please let us know by emailing the organiser
