Bream is a typical Forest settlement with a complex mix of detached cottages and farms, former mine workings and industrial sites, small housing estates, woodland and common land with a dense network of roads, tracks and paths.
North Gloucestershire Orienteering Club are pleased to invite you to join us for a summer orienteering event at Cleeve Hill.
After a couple of fairly flat races, Greg takes us back to the deep valleys on the Cotswold edge, fell racers will have something of an advantage managing the ups and downs of the Nailsworth valley below Minchinhampton Common.
Our Summer 2 x 2 Relay is in the Forest of Dean this year, using Chestnuts Hill, which is part of the Lightning Tree Hill map.
Please note this is a Sunday event
Welcome to Cirencester for the first NGOC event in this ancient Roman town.
This is another half and half course, or perhaps a 60/40 one, 60% forest, 40% in the largely linear villages of Yorkley and Oldcroft.
We return to Brockworth and the North eastern suburbs of Gloucester for the first time since 2020.
This is an all forest race using a standard OCAD map.
It's possible we may have a permissions problem for this event, so please hold off entering, if you have not already done so, until after the weekend, by which time we should have a better idea whether we can go ahead the following weekend or not.
There'll be both urban and rural route options at this MapRun: from the town of Churchdown to the footpaths of Churchdown Hill.
