On Bank Holiday Monday we have Urban Orienteering in a brand new venue: the Cotswold town of Nailsworth, which nestles scenically in the Stroud Valleys.
We head back West again for this race, further West than usual in fact, to the hamlet of Kingsthorne, and Aconbury Hill, with its Iron Age hill fort - Aconbury Camp, sometime base for the Royalists during the Civil War, and for the Scots before the siege of Hereford in 1645 - overlooking the surrounding Herefordshire countryside.
Although there have been a couple of informal MapRuns in the Wye Valley Forests, this will be our first series race on the West side of the Wye below Monmouth.
