Huge thanks to everyone who came to Painswick Beacon yesterday for our 2×2 Relay, as well as to planner Greg Best, for setting some lovely courses and a sting in the tail on the run in. By all accounts it was a most enjoyable, if somewhat too hot an occasion.
Preliminary results are now published on the Results page. As far as I can tell I have correctly managed mini mass starts (my first time doing computing for a Relay), but do let me know if you see something amiss in the results. Apologies also to two teams – the Rocking 80s, and Hobble and Stop – for a perfect storm of problems with your runs – some of my making, incorrectly assigning dibbers, some of yours, running the wrong legs or failing to clear between legs, and some the bright sunshine, which made spotting errors at download almost impossible on the screen, and meaning that they didn’t get fixed until too late in the day.
