BOKArmy 2025 Grand Final Championships
As you will all know we have decided to bring the BOK Army era to a fitting close with a Grand Final Championship race and lunch at our spiritual home, the Rising Sun at Moseley Green, on Thursday 9th October 2025. You will also know that whilst this blows the final whistle on BOK Army, we, or at least a good many of us, are determined to keep the spirit, sociability, and objectives of BOK Army going, but in a different guise which acknowledges that BOK and Army are no longer solely what we are about, and with a new name, to be determined collectively over the next few months.
With that in mind, we are keen to discuss, with anyone willing to contribute, what form the new BA - for now BOKArmy2 - should take, and what sort of things we could consider doing - sporting, social, whatever. And in the registration form - link below - as well as booking a map and lunch, you are invited to suggest a new name for BOKArmy2. We will list these on the day, and invite a ballot as to what we should call ourselves hereafter.
The Champs will take the form of two score courses, a standard 60 minute one, and a shorter one, details to be confirmed, but probably 40 or 45 minutes duration. We will be based at the Rising Sun, and running mainly on the Moseley Green map, with possible visits across the roads to Oakenhill or Danby Lodge maps. Pete Foster is currently trying to find enough holes in the bracken layer to get us through!

In the usual fashion, you need to go to the registration form here, state your intentions, and order lunch if relevant, by no later than midnight on Wednesday 1st October, to enable us to give the pub notice of meal orders. Please do this even if unable to come, so that we can track who has responded and who hasn't.
