Results for the first League event of the new year are now published on the 2024 Results page, and Routegadget is available to share and analyze your tracks.
Thanks to Ginny and Pat, and all the team of helpers who helped to organize and set up the event; and to Prinknash for the use of their parking, toilets and catering via their excellent cafe – although it was cold early on, those of us hanging around in the cafe did eventually see some sunshine!
Finally a word from the organiser/planner:
Thank you for coming to Cooper’s Hill today. We were so lucky with the weather, dry and still, if cold, and the sun made a sterling and much-appreciated effort to co e out by midday. Much like all your efforts on the hill. They were challenging courses physically, for some, but fair by all accounts, so I hope you were pleased with your sterling efforts too!
A huge thank you to the stalwart organising team; as usual, entirely reliable and professional, for whom we are all immensely grateful. I will extend our thanks to the cafe staff too, for their warm welcome and much-appreciated refreshments.
